Important Update: JKK Kayak Refurbishments

At Flow Kayaks, we take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and ensuring that every kayak we work on meets the highest standards of safety and durability.

We will no longer be offering JKK kayak refurbishments.

Over the years, we’ve gained extensive experience in JKK refurbishments, and a clear pattern has emerged. Many of the models coming through for refurbishment have experienced varying levels of care and maintenance, with some showing signs of ageing beyond their intended lifespan. As these kayaks get older, their structural integrity is increasingly reliant on repairs and the resin used in refurbishment, rather than the original fibre strength. To ensure we maintain the highest standards of quality and long-term performance, we have decided to step back from full refurbishments while still offering essential repairs and component replacements where appropriate.

This change does not reflect on the quality of JKK kayaks, which have long been a respected part of the multisport paddling landscape. Well-maintained JKK kayaks will continue to serve paddlers for many years, and second-hand models remain a great option for those entering the sport.

Flow Kayaks will continue to offer JKK repairs and component replacements, including:
✅ Rudder system repairs and replacements
✅ Footrest and pedal system replacements
✅ Seat and cockpit repairs
✅ Structural damage repairs on a case-by-case basis
