Case Study: Customised Fleet for River Ninja Rentals

Todd Kraiger (the original River Ninja) and his wife Di are specialists in rental businesses. They've owned and operated a few in the time we've known them in vehicle rentals, and lately Forklift renting and leasing. They know their stuff, the systems and how to look after people.

Todd's been a multisporter for going on a decade now and has competed in numerous Coast to Coasts, had many a kayak and worked both up and down the pecking order of Flow Kayak models to understand them both upright, and upside down.

Recently, Todd and Di launched River Ninja Rentals. A customer centric, kayak rental business that has a fleet of Flow Kayaks and others to cater for the need of the Canterbury-bound athlete from afar, the experimental paddler wanting to try a different boat over the period of a few days, to weeks to months.

River Ninja partnered with Flow Kayaks to manufacture a robust fleet of kayaks and paddles for their new venture, match a colour scheme to their branding (which is worth a look in itself) and make them stick out. From their custom Fern Green, easily adjustable pedals in all boats to fit the demanding needs of adjustments and the idea we added in of bright orange rudders; just incase their clients forget to use a tail flag in transit.

Flow Kayaks also provides all maintenance and repair work on all of River Ninja’s fleet (even the non Flow’s 🙄) so that the River Ninja Fleet always looks its best and are ready for the hardiest of adventures.
